Last month, Robert A. Siegel held an auction of worldwide stamps and covers with a strong Canadian representation. Here are some of the better items that were of note. Of particular interest were the imperforate pairs from the 20¢ and 50¢ Small Queen set which sold for record prices. Also featured in this sale was a very rare Port Hood envelope shown below.

Siegel notes that two 1¢ surcharges to make up the Two Cent rate on a Port Hood envelope is most unusual. This envelope is ex Dale-Lichtenstein and came with a 1971 Stanley Gibbons Certificate.
