Canada's Small Queens
The Dream Collection - Part II

Part I of our dream collection of the Small Queens featured the best of Scott 34 to 39. In this Commentary, we move on to show the best of Scott 40 to 47. The stamps shown below come principally from the Ottawa printings and prices realized in some cases are amazing! It makes us wonder how collectors can be so determined as to pay these prices. But then again, stamps of this quality from the early period are so very rarely offered at auction. When they are, collectors who are active at auctions notice them and can't help themselves from joining in the bidding.
